Many realtors sell a student property here and there. Conversely, I have been involved in student housing, in some way, since 1989. Initially, I lived in student housing as a student while attending Wilfrid Laurier University. After graduation, I formed a student property management company with the goal of one day being able to buy my own properties. I then proceeded to buy and develop my own student investment properties. For those that care to listen, I am quite proud to be student landlord today!
I am also the Vice President of the Waterloo Region Apartment Managers Association (WRAMA) and advocate on behalf of our student landlord members in this capacity.
